Jocelyn graduated from Exeter University with a degree in law and has practised for over 30 years as a solicitor in the City of London, first at Herbert Smith and then at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. She spent 20 years as a partner at Freshfields specialising in employment and corporate governance and reward matters in the UK and Europe. She led and managed the firm’s global Employment and Reward Practice for 6 years.  

Jocelyn retired from practice in 2016. She has been a governor of Skinners’ Academy in Hackney, London and has been Chair of its governors since 2019. Jocelyn is a member of the Skinners’ Company and lives in London.
